Demo: Loopback Test on Crimson TNG

In this tutorial, we demonstrate a loopback test using Crimson TNG and a GNU Radio script. This test is used to ensure the SDR is capable of transmitting and receiving the same frequency and amplitude on all four channels.

1. Loopback test Setup

1.1. Software requirements

  1. GNU Radio and associated dependencies must be installed on your computer

1.2. Hardware requirements

  1. Crimson TNG SDR with associated host computer/adaptors/cables
  2. SMA cables with 30dB attenuators

The figure below shows the setup of Crimson TNG for this test.
